Transition U

About the Program

The Transition U Program is through the Knox Educational Service Center in Mount Vernon, Ohio. We help students ages 18-21 develop vocational, social, and daily living skills in classroom and community settings. The students gain work experience at ten different job sites in the community. The students work from the last week of August through May from 10:15 in the morning until 12:30 in the afternoon Monday through Friday. They work on daily living skills in the classroom from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. each school day.
