Good Evening everyone. I hope that you are enjoying Thanksgiving break with your family and friends. Just a reminder, The Knox Learning Center will be closed tomorrow, Monday December 1st, 2025 as part of our Thanksgiving break. Everyone will report back to school on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 for our regular school schedule.

ATTENTION-- The Knox Learning Center has evacuated the building at 900 W Vine St due to an incident and have safely moved to MV The Energy Field House at 101 Yellow Jacket Dr.
We are actively coordinating with districts to facilitate regular student transportation.
Any Parent/Guardian picking up students will be at The Energy Field House

Hello all, we are excited to see the participation so far. I would like to remind you to please have your post cards turned in to your student's teacher by Friday the 31st

The Mount Vernon Church of Christ has generously offered to purchase a coat for a student in need at The Knox Learning Center. Coats may not be brand new, but will be in excellent condition. We want to provide these coats to those who genuinely need a coat. The teachers will send home a postcard with the students today to be filled out if needed. If your student brings a card home and you would like to participate in the project, please fill out the card and return it. If your student did not bring the postcard home, and you would like to participate. Please get in touch with Lisa Mazzari at 740-398-0569 to get a card. If you do not wish your student to participate, please return the card to us.
All postcards filled out need to be returned to the Learning Center by October 31, 2025
The coat will need to be picked up by Monday, November 10th 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Please note that tomorrow is the day off for students from coming to our building at the K LC. Our teachers and aides will be enjoying a day of in-service training. Have a great weekend. See everybody on Monday.

If you would like to participate in the staff dance during the Christmas program, there will be a rehearsal with Dr. Mackley tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2:15 in the commons. Participation is not required, but the dance is easy to learn, easy to do - and it would be nice to have a large representation.

Good morning, most of the school districts the Learning Center Serves have closed for the day. Due to extreme temperatures and road conditions. The Knox Learning Center has decided to close as well. We are currently making arrangements for your students that are already at school to get away home.

Several school districts are calling a two hour delay today due to the extreme fog in our region. Please note we are running on time. You are expected to be at the Learning Center at the normal time. Please use caution as you drive into work.
